Tom was born on the 7th of april 1982 in Gillingham, England. His family moved to Germany when he was 2, and lived near Moenchengladbach for 14 years. He left home to attend Chethams school of Music in Manchester when he was 16. After 2 years in Manchester, he moved to London to the Royal College of Music to do a degree in Music, and to study the saxophone in greater depth. He has recently graduated (with a 1st class degree and a 'special directors prize') and is continuing his studies at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama on a post-graduate jazz course. As well as teaching music, he regularly play at a variety of venues around London - National Gallery, Dorchester Hotel, Tate Gallery etc.. He has also taken part in many competitions with Naoko both in Britain and in Europe. She helped him win a Yamaha Scholarship, and we were also prize winners at a competiton in Munich, Germany in 2002. May 2005: Played in Walton's 'Facade' with Southbank Sinfonnia.
